Let’s see - was born & grew up in Germany (until age 15) as a semi-army brat; my father worked for “Stars & Stripes”.
I was raised roman-catholic; altar boy, the whole 9 yards.  When I was 11 my cat died; when I brought that up in Sunday School & asked if my cat went to heaven Father Schmidt declared:”No, animals don’t have souls, so your cat wont be in heaven.”  That was pretty much it for me & Christianity & especially the Bible.
Read alot of german philosophers in german, Nietzsche, Schoppenhauer, Kant etc.
Drugs, especially opium & heroin have been a problem for me a few times in my life, but the pursuit of spirit and the struggle to be a hunter-warrior has been a much stronger force in my life.
Well, I could forever talk to You, but soon my words would turn into a meaningless ring - so instead I’ll sign off, for now, with a quote by Robert Schuller that I recently ran across & really love:
